 Training
More and more people of all
ages come to training and we welcome all, independent of their previous
experience, and free of charge! If there is enough interest, we would
start training on Saturday afternoons as well.
We feel
that the most important thing for us is to promote the game in Uganda ,
thus we don't want to limit people's enthusiasm by fees and other
payments. In addition, as in many other places in the world, most
players are young students and in Uganda , students are quite poor.
Our main
goal remains to have great fun, great exercise and great games! We are
committed to the development of the game in Uganda and the region, and
look forward to organizing more and bigger events every year.
We train every Sunday
from 5:00pm to dusk on the MUBS campus in Nakawa. To get
there, go past the Shoprite / Game Mall on Jinja Road when coming from
Kampala. Make the first right hand turn at the next set of lights and
go 300 meters until you see the MUBS campus on your left.
We also train on
Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. at various locales around Kampala. For
up-to-date information about training location (which may change during
